It is common to experience redness, swelling and tenderness in the treatment area immediately after a Profhilo treatment, but this usually subsides within a few days.
Bruising may occur in rare cases and these usually disappear after 1-2 weeks.
In some cases, the area of skin where the treatment has been done may appear discolored in the form of abnormally light or dark skin, but this is temporary and disappears within a few days.
Both Skinbooster and Profhilo are treatments with hyaluronic acid.
Profhilo is designed to give fullness and has a tightening effect, while Skinbooster gives radiance but does not tighten in the same way.
