Brazilian Butt Lift
Brazilian Butt Lift
While a shapely and well-rounded posterior is an enduring symbol of health and beauty, a drooping, sagging behind that is overly flat and wide can make any woman feel self-conscious or less confident in their body. Thanks to the unavoidable changes brought by gravity, genetics, and the aging process, you are experiencing this kind of issue right now. How can you combat this problem?
Before & After pictures – Brazilian butt lift
As one of the fastest growing and most popular cosmetic surgeries available today, the Brazilian butt lift is the marketing term for autologous fat transfer to the buttocks. This method for sculpting the derriere first uses liposuction to remove extra, unwanted fat from other parts of your body, particularly the waist, lower back and thighs. Many patients take the opportunity to have fat removed from their abdomen as well. Once the fat is removed it’s then purified, and reinjected into your backside. This results in a leaner body contour featuring fuller and rounder buttocks. Your buttocks will have a much more natural appearance and feel than what can be achieved with silicone implants. Also, because your own fat is what is used to reshape your bottom, the risk of rejection is reduced to practically zero.
The Brazilian butt lift is a remarkably less invasive procedure than other buttock augmentation surgeries. This means a shorter and much easier recovery period. According to Augmentation of the Buttocks by Micro Fat Grafting, a research article led by American plastic surgeon, Dr. Thomas Roberts, Brazilian butt lifts are:
- Flexible in the size and placement of the reinjected fat.
- Much less painful.
- Able to achieve a faster recovery period.
- Related to a reduced risk of complications.
10 Reasons Why Your Brazilian Butt Lift in Malmö is Better at Estetikcentrum
Since it was developed in the 1980s, the Brazilian butt lift has become one of the world’s most popular cosmetic surgeries. For this reason, the procedure is offered in countless clinics, and choosing one can be difficult. We offer a few reasons why you should consider undergoing your Brazilian butt lift with us.
We Minimize the Risk of Infection, Even Before Your Surgery Begins.
Infection is a risk of any surgery, but when it does occur on rare occasions, it can lead to a longer and complicated recovery period as well as more prominent scarring. We make sure that we lower your risk of infection before the procedure even begins. Using a process called “antibiotic prophylaxis,” you’re given antibiotics well before the first incision is ever made. This simple and easy precaution helps to lower your risk for infections both during the surgery itself, and during your recovery phase.
You’ll Have a Better Curves and More Projection of Your Buttocks.
Our talented plastic surgeons has long experience performing Brazilian butt lifts. Based on their experience and skill, our surgeons have found that the best places to take fat are the love handles and lower back. Through countless procedures, we’ve found that by using these specific areas as “donor sites” for the liposuction part of the procedure, there’s less fat there so that your buttocks have better curvature, more projection, and an overall more attractive shape.
Your Incisions Will Measure Just a Few Millimetres Each.
We try to minimize the trauma that is caused during surgery as much as we possibly can, to make sure your recovery is smooth and easy. In order to do this, all the incisions we make during your surgery are extremely short and fine. In fact, for the liposuction part of the procedure, we make just a few incisions measuring only 3-4 mm each, placed in the natural creases of your skin. These small incisions are made in the lower back, the mid back, and one on either side to access the love handles. They are sutured following the procedure, and heal virtually invisibly. For the transferring of the fat, only tiny needle punctures are made. They’re so small they’ll heal invisibly all on their own.
We Use the Newest and Most Advanced Liposuction Technology.
For the Brazilian butt lift procedure, we use a device called the Body-jet. This device uses a water jet to create a smoother, more gentle liposuction process, allowing for faster and easier removal of fat that also leaves the surrounding nerves and blood vessels unharmed. The remaining fat in the donor areas is smoothed out so that there are no lumps or bumps left, giving you a leaner body contour that is smooth and even. This is important, since lumpiness and indentations in liposuctioned areas tend to be a major complaint for patients.
You Won’t Have to Wait Around While the Fat is Purified.
Our liposuction technology is able to filter the suctioned fat in a unique way. Most fat transfers involve spinning the removed fat in a centrifuge to separate the delicate fat cells. Unfortunately, this can damage the fat, meaning that there will be less to use for the transfer. In addition, it can be a time consuming process, during which the patient can only wait around doing nothing. The body-jet system, however, purifies the fat as soon as its collected, pretty much instantly. It uses gravity, buoyancy, and a vacuum to separate and purify the usable fat in a much gentler way to protect the healthy state of the fat cells. Not only will you not need to wait around, you’ll also have more viable fat to use in reshaping your butt.
We Transfer Fat with Precision, Improving Results and Longevity.
Once we have enough fat for the transfer itself, we use an advanced technique that helps to maximize the survival of the transferred fat and create a nice, smooth shape. This method is called the “droplet technique.” The droplet technique uses a tiny cannula, which is a kind of medical tube used in liposuction, to reinject the fat. As your surgeon pulls the needle-like cannula out of our body, it leaves a small line of fat cells in its place. The droplet technique not only allows our surgeons to precisely place the fat where you want it to reach your ultimate goals, it is also able to achieve longer lasting results.
We Warm All IV and Liposuction Fluids.
A common and unpleasant side effect of many surgeries is waking up shivering and feeling extremely cold. This typically happens because IV fluids administered during the surgery are cooler than body temperature. This drops your body heat, making you feel cold. We go out of our way to make sure that you stay warm and cozy throughout your stay with us. To achieve this, we warm all your IV fluids to body temperature before we administer them. We also warm the anesthetic fluids that are injected into your fat to make it easier to remove during the liposuction phase. That way, any fluids entering your body won’t cool you down.
We Keep You Warm After Surgery.
Once your surgery is done, we provide you with a nice, warm electric blanket to make sure those shivers stay away as you rest in the recovery room. This simple measure is an added expense for us, but we believe that it’s an important part of making sure that your surgical experience is as positive as it can be!
100% Dedicated Observation in the Recovery Room.
When your operation has been completed, you’ll be moved into our quiet recovery area. There you can rest and relax peacefully for a few hours until you’re ready to head home. Even though you’ll probably be sleeping for most of this time, we won’t ignore you! While you rest during this initial recovery period, your very own recovery room nurse will quietly sit beside you and watch over your vital signs. Your nurse will stay close at hand to keep an eye on you, and answer any questions or concerns you might have after your operation.
You’ll Get a Medical Note Allowing for Up to 3 Weeks Off from Work.
Before you head home, we make sure to provide you with a medical note allowing for up to 3 weeks off from work. It’s important that you don’t put too much pressure on your new butt while you recover. This means that you can’t even sit down normally for a while, as putting your body weight on the new fat in your butt can cause it to get absorbed, leading to uneven or poor results. That means if you have a desk job, or other occupation that requires you to sit for long periods of time, you’ll need to stay away from work for a while. Keep in mind that your final results will depend on how you treat you butt during the healing process. Giving it all the time it needs will give you the very best results.
Your Brazilian Butt Lift Consultation
The first step towards your new bottom will be a consultation appointment with your surgeon. This meeting typically lasts about an hour or so, and is the best way to determine if you’re a good candidate for a Brazilian butt lift. Your consultation will include an examination of your body, with particular attention paid to your hips, abdomen, and butt. Your surgeon will be looking for appropriate places to perform liposuction. They’ll also look at your overall body shape and proportion to figure out the best way to perform your butt lift to achieve a beautiful and natural result. At this time, you can even talk to your surgeon about any specific problem areas you’re concerned with, and discuss your ultimate goals for the procedure.
Your surgeon will also review your medical records and go over any potential risks with you to help determine if you’re a good candidate for the procedure. In order to be suitable for the operation, you’ll need to meet a few criteria. Because the operation uses fat cells taken from your own body, you’ll need to have enough for your surgeon to harvest. The most common areas we take fat from are the lower back and love handles. This helps your butt protrude more, giving it a more appealing shape. The best patients are a little bit overweight, ideally within about 10 to 15 kilograms of their weight goal. You’ll need this much extra fat because once it has been injected into your buttocks, up to 70% of it can be reabsorbed by your body and disappear. Exactly how much fat will remain in the transfer after your recovery is finished will depend on your body’s healing process. For this reason, some patients need more than one procedure to achieve the results they want.
In addition to having enough fat for the transfer, you’ll also need room in your butt for the transferred fat. If you don’t have enough room, it can create extra pressure on the fat cells. Too much pressure can cause even less of the transferred fat to survive the healing process. In the most serious cases, pressure can lead to necrosis, or fat death, which is a serious condition requiring immediate medical attention. That’s why it’s important that your initial consultation is thorough. Fortunately, you’ll be speaking with the exact surgeons who will perform your surgery, so you can rest assured that you’ll get the most accurate answers to your questions.
The most critical instruction for you to follow during your recovery is your surgeon’s recommendations regarding sitting. You won’t be able to sit or lie down on your new backside for at least 3 weeks after your surgery. This time is important because if you sit on your new bottom while it’s healing, you can damage the fat that is desperately trying to make a new home for itself in your butt. Blood vessels won’t be able to develop in the transferred fat, which causes the fat cells to die. This leads to uneven and poor results. The best way to avoid this is to sit with a pillow or cushion below your hamstrings to lift up your buttocks, and not to sit for more than 10 minutes or so at a time. You’ll also need to sleep on your stomach or side.
Recovering from a Brazilian butt lift also involves the use of compression garments. This helps apply an even amount of pressure over the areas that were liposuctioned (without adding any pressure to your butt) to help them heal into their new shape. For the best results, it’s important that you follow all your surgeon’s instructions to the letter.
The exact length of your recovery will depend on your surgery and your body’s healing process, but most people can return to work after a week, if their job doesn’t involve much sitting. You may need to wait about 3 weeks if you have a desk job. Sometimes, recovery can take a bit longer, but most people can expect to gradually return to their usual activities over the course of about 4 to 8 weeks. That being said, it’s good to remember that even after you’re able to go back to work, your recovery won’t be complete quite yet. In fact, it can take between 3 and 4 months for the end results to fully reveal themselves. Try to have patience, your new derriere is on its way!
Because everyone’s body and backside are shaped differently, and due to the flexibility and customizability of the Brazilian butt lift, no two patients’ results will be the same. In general, you can expect a firmer, perkier, and all around more attractive butt. While most patients get the results they want, in some cases more than one procedure may be needed.
One of the advantages of the Brazilian butt lift technique is that the incisions it requires are extremely small. They are either small needle punctures or measure just 3 or 4 mm long. These minor incisions mean that once your healing is completed, any scarring left over should be minimal and practically invisible.
The Brazilian butt lift focuses on reshaping your body by removing unwanted fat from other areas and using it to fill out the butt, resulting in a fuller bottom with a more well defined curve to the hips. This technique adds volume for a sexier, more youthful shape, angle, and overall appearance. Our patients love how they look, especially in pants and dresses!
What is buttock augmentation with fat grafting? What is Brazilian butt lift?
This is a procedure that involves enhancing the shape and/or size of the buttocks with fat. The fat is taken from one or more areas on the patient’s body using liposuction, purified, then injected into the buttocks. This is technically called autologous fat transfer to the buttocks. A more popular term for this procedure is Brazilian butt lift.
What happens if I don’t have enough fat for a Brazilian butt lift?
If you don’t have enough fat to transfer and won’t be able to achieve the results you want, a Brazilian butt lift will not be suitable for you. You may need to gain a bit of weight before the surgery, or consider another procedure to enhance your buttocks and overall body shape.
What are Brazilian butt lift risks?
Like any surgery, Brazilian butt lift has its own risks that you should be aware of. However, the risks associated with this surgery are quite low, and it is considered much safer than other butt augmentation methods. Risks include infection, excessive bruising, lasting numbness, and contour irregularities. More serious risks include fat embolism and deep vein thrombosis.
How long do Brazilian butt lift results last?
Results generally last for a very long time. Weight loss and aging can affect results. If you lose weight after your surgery, you may notice that your butt gets smaller. However, this weight loss is proportional so you’ll still be able to maintain your new curves to a certain extent.
