Dr. Marie Forséni

Marie Forseni is a medical doctor specialized in plastic surgery with 20 years of experience in reconstructive and aesthetic plastic surgery. She trained at Karolinska Hospital where she also had the main responsibility for patients with facial paralysis.

She completed a two-year training program in aesthetic plastic surgery at the Academy Clinic and has served there. There she was also involved in a research study on the follow-up of patients after breast augmentation.

In 2000, Marie completed her doctoral thesis, part of which was conducted at the University of California, San Diego. She also spent time with Professor Miller at the Division of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at the University of California, Los Angeles.

Marie believes she has the most exciting job because she gets to help bring out the best in people. She places great importance on the consultation with her patients to clearly understand their wishes and create a joint plan to achieve the desired result.

Most of Marie's patients are looking for a natural result, which is also her specialty. Many seek her out specifically to get just that.

Marie is a member of the Swedish Society of Plastic Surgery (SPKF), the Swedish Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (SFEP) and the Aesthetic Injection Council (EIR).
