Nose surgery, or rhinoplasty, is a complex surgical procedure performed to alter the shape, size, or proportions of the nose.
The procedure is performed under general anesthesia, and the surgeon reshapes, reposition, or removes nasal cartilage, bone, and tissue to achieve the desired shape and structure of the nose.

It takes patience to recover from rhinoplasty. Bruising and swelling initially obscure the results but fade after the first few weeks.
If you have a weak nasal bone, extra support can be inserted during the first few weeks.
The small stitches outside the nostrils are removed after a week.
You will be asked to use a saline solution in your nose for a period of time after the procedure to minimize the risk of infection.
