An Alma Rejuve treatment Alma Rejuve about 30 minutes, depending on the size of the area. The treatment is virtually painless and does not require anesthesia. Before the treatment begins, your skin will be cleansed and you will be given protective eyewear. A cooling gel is then applied. The laser emits light pulses to the area being treated. You can resume normal activities immediately, but you may experience slight redness in the treated area.
Typically, the treated areas darken 3–7 days after the treatment. The spots gradually fade, leaving behind a clearer and more even skin tone. If you experience mild swelling after the treatment, you can apply a cold compress to the area for the first 24 hours. Avoid direct sunlight for the first 3–4 days after your treatment.
The effects of your laser treatment are visible after just one session, but for optimal results, multiple treatments are recommended. The number of treatments needed to achieve the desired results varies by individual and will be assessed during your consultation.
