Many of our clients come to us with the same request. They want fuller lips, but don't want it to look 'operated' or overdone. We understand this, of course, which is why we offer a range of options here at Estetikcentrum. Our surgeons are experts in lip augmentation with their own fat, but our injection nurses are specialists in both fillers and our new favorite - Lipflip botox!
This is a treatment that has quickly become popular with us at Estetikcentrum in Malmö and it is easy to understand why. For starters, it's a non-surgical treatment that doesn't require a long recovery and still gives the upper lip a more prominent appearance, without adding volume with fillers. Instead, we work with the muscle relaxant botulinum toxin type A, better known as botox. This allows us to soften the muscle that pulls the upper lip down, giving you a fuller-looking lip with more pout.
How Lipflip with Botox works
Botox has long been used in both aesthetic and medical care to temporarily reduce muscle activity. In the case of a Lipflip botox treatment, we inject very small amounts into the muscles around the upper lip, causing the lip to relax and take on a natural outward curve. It's a subtle change, but often with a big effect.
The main difference from fillers is that Lipflip does not add volume, but instead changes the angle and expression of the lip. This makes it particularly popular with those who want a softer, more subtle result or want to test how it feels before possibly trying fillers. The treatment only takes around 10-20 minutes and the injection itself is usually over in under a minute. We use a thin needle and offer anesthetic ointment to those who wish. The result develops gradually over about a week and usually lasts for about 3 months.

Lipflip is recommended for anyone who wants to get visually fuller lips, without using any filler. If you have a thin upper lip that almost disappears every time you smile Lipflip can be particularly useful and effective. It is also suitable for those who want to:

Before a treatment at our clinic, we always do an individual assessment. You will meet one of our skilled injection nurses and together you will go through your expectations, facial muscles and general health. No treatment at Estetikcentrum takes place without a proper consultation and, of course, you always have at least 48 hours to think about it. After the treatment, you can go straight back to your everyday life, but please avoid exercise, heat and alcohol for the first 24 hours.
