Profhilo - everything you need to know!

Profhilo is one of our absolute favorites here at Estetikcentrum. In simple terms, it's an injection, but with a different approach to regular fillers. The content is indeed hyaluronic acid, which is the same material that fillers are made of, but what makes Profhilo unique is that it uses both high- and low-molecular HA in exactly the right mixture, a total of 64 mg in one syringe. What's more, it's stabilized with a gentle heat process, allowing it to spread like a natural liquid under the skin.

The magic happens when the hyaluronic acid spreads through the skin. First, it binds water and moisturizes, and then fibroblasts in the skin get a boost to produce more collagen. It is collagen (in combination with elastin) that keeps skin elastic and strong.

Firmer and more youthful skin

Here at Estetikcentrum , we usually explain Profhilo as a long-acting serum that works from within. Instead of just giving glow for a day, it also strengthens the skin over time. Hyaluronic acid binds up to 1000 times its weight in water, leaving skin hydrated and plump. At the same time, thanks to fibroblast stimulation, it strengthens the skin and reduces wrinkles and sagging that otherwise only get worse with age.

So what happens in practice? Skin feels firmer, more elastic and slightly more youthful, but in a way that is discreet and natural.

After treatment - what happens next?

The treatment is quick and that is something our customers appreciate very much. It takes about 30 minutes and involves a few small pricks with a thin needle. It usually doesn't hurt much, but if you want, you always have the right to get anesthesia before we start. After the treatment, your skin may be a little red and swollen, but this usually subsides within 24 hours.
