Laser on the skin? Isn't it dangerous? We know it sounds a bit scary, but the truth is that laser treatments are some of the most effective ways to treat the signs of ageing. At the Estetikcentrum , we use fractional CO2 lasers to treat everything from acne scars to fine lines and sun-damaged skin.

CO2 laser treatment is an advanced way to help skin repair and rejuvenate itself. Using thin, focused laser beams, microscopic holes (or channels) are created in the skin. It may sound dramatic, but it is both controlled and safe. If you want to try something new and take a step away from classic facials and creams - then this is the guide for you. Stay tuned and we'll tell you more!

How our CO2 laser works

At Estetikcentrum , we are proud to offer CO2 laser treatment. It is a very advanced and modern technology that can help the skin repair and rejuvenate itself. When these small channels or holes are created in the skin with the laser, they kick-start the body's natural healing. It also means that the body's own production of collagen increases and elastin quality improves. When this happens, the skin builds up new, healthy tissue again. The result is more even skin tone, reduced scars and a firmer feel.

The treatment is suitable for those who want to treat:

  • Acne scars
  • Stretch marks
  • Uneven pigmentation
  • Fine lines and wrinkles
  • Scar tissue

Step-by-step guide to CO2 lasers

Consultation
With us at Estetikcentrum , we always start by having you meet one of our skilled skin therapists for a consultation. Together you will go through your skin type, your goals and what results you can expect.

Treatment
When it is time for treatment, we use an FDA-approved machine that gives very good clinical results. A numbing cream can also be used to make the treatment as comfortable as possible.

Aftercare and recovery

The laser treatment itself takes about 30 minutes, depending on the area being treated, and you can return to your everyday life straight away. However, it is important to remember that there is a healing process and a phase where the skin may feel warm, swollen and a little red. For most people, this passes after a few days.

Frequently asked questions and answers

Does CO2 laser hurt?
Thanks to the anesthetic, most people only experience some discomfort, but it is far from painful.

When will you see the results?
The results will only be visible a few weeks after your treatment, but your results will often last for several months.

Do you need more than one treatment?
Many people see results after just one treatment, but for more extensive changes we recommend a course of several sessions.
