Are you tired of hearing that you look tired, even though you’ve slept eight hours and actually feel pretty alert? The skin under your eyes is thin and sensitive, and that’s often where the first signs of aging or life’s stresses appear. But there is hope, and it doesn’t have to be complicated or drastic.
Here at Estetikcentrum Malmö, we offer mesotherapy, a treatment that is perfectly suited for that delicate area under the eyes. Using small injections, we revitalize the skin from within, giving you a fresher, smoother appearance that makes you look (and feel) younger.
What causes wrinkles under the eyes, and how does mesotherapy help?
Wrinkles under the eyes can be caused by several factors. These include aging, sun exposure, stress, lack of sleep, and sometimes even genetics. When the skin loses moisture, elasticity, and essential nutrients, it also loses its firmness. This can lead to fine lines, shadows, and a tired appearance, regardless of how you actually feel.
This is where mesotherapy comes in! It’s a treatment where we inject a wonderful cocktail of vitamins, antioxidants, amino acids, and hyaluronic acid directly into the skin, right where it’s needed most. Under the eyes, we work superficially and gently, using very small amounts that boost the skin’s own functions such as hydration, elasticity, and cell renewal. Mesotherapy doesn’t just temporarily smooth out the skin. It improves the skin’s quality at a deep level and helps it recover from within.
Psst! Did you know that mesotherapy is also excellent for treating and preventing dull skin, small scars, pigmentation spots, acne, large pores, hair loss, rosacea, and cellulite?
Here's how the treatment works
The treatment begins with a consultation where we discuss your goals and determine whether mesotherapy is the right approach for you. When treating the under-eye area, we use very fine needles and a customized formula specifically designed for this sensitive area.
The treatment itself takes about 30 minutes and is relatively painless. You may feel slight pricks, but we use numbing cream if needed to make it as comfortable as possible. Afterward, you may experience slight swelling or redness, but this usually goes away within a couple of hours.
For best results, we recommend a course of several treatments. It’s hard to say exactly how many you’ll need until we’ve met with you, but a combination of 3–5 treatments is usually optimal for most people. The treatments are then scheduled a few weeks apart.
Visible results
After a course of mesotherapy, many people notice that the skin under their eyes has become smoother, more hydrated, and has regained its radiance. Your eyes look more alert, without losing your natural expression or altering your features. It’s still you, but with a fresher version of your everyday glow.
The results build up gradually and improve over time, especially if you follow up with a good skincare routine at home and perhaps combine it with other treatments we offer. Feel free to contact us, and we’ll discuss how we can help you achieve a more beautiful complexion and greater self-confidence.
