Lipflip is not a new procedure, but many people are still unfamiliar with it. The treatment involves injecting small amounts of a muscle relaxant (botulinum toxin type A) near the edge of the upper lip. This causes the circular muscle around the mouth to partially relax, causing the upper lip to turn slightly outwards. The effect is to make the lip look slightly fuller, without adding any direct volume.
