Sklerosering används för att behandla åderbråck och vissa andra blodkärlsproblem. Det är en minimalt invasiv teknik där en substans injiceras direkt i de drabbade blodkärlen. Sclerotherapy is usually performed with minimal discomfort. A fine needle is used to inject the sclerosing agent into the blood vessel, and most people experience only a mild burning or stinging sensation during the procedure. Anesthesia is usually not necessary, but in some cases, a local anesthetic may be used to reduce discomfort.
