When you book a consultation at Estetikcentrum , you will have an appointment with both the surgeon who will perform the operation, and with our coordinator who can tell you more about the logistical aspects of the process. This is your chance to visit the clinic and ask all your questions to our knowledgeable team.
It is important to meet the surgeon before the procedure, both to get a sense of the clinic, and to feel the chemistry between you and the doctor who will operate on you. You can have your consultation either at the clinic in central Malmö or online, if you cannot or do not want to travel to Malmö. Depending on the surgery, the consultation takes 30-45 minutes.
When you decide to have your surgery with us at Estetikcentrum , you will be assigned a contact person. You can reach your contact person around the clock if you have any questions or concerns - before or after surgery. Your safety is the most important thing for us, and we want you to feel 100% safe with us at Estetikcentrum. Therefore, we want you to be able to reach us whenever you need to.
Preparation for the surgery may include abstaining from alcohol, smoking and certain foods, fasting for a certain period of time, or filling out paperwork needed for your safety. Our surgical team will be in touch with you to make sure you have all the information you need before surgery. And if you have any questions, you can reach out to your contact person.
When you arrive on the day of your surgery, you will be greeted by our nurses. They will go through all the preparations with you and lead you to the operating room. Our experienced, friendly anesthesiologist makes all our patients feel at ease, and before you know it, you wake up in our recovery room, and the surgery is done.
A nurse is by your side at all times during the anesthesia, right up to your awakening, when you are given a tray of food in our comfortable recovery room. You can take as much time as you need to rest before a visit from the doctor to make sure everything has gone as expected. You will then be cleared to go home when you feel ready.
After the vast majority of operations, you can go home the same day, but for some major operations we want you to stay overnight so we can make sure you are completely safe.
The return visit is to make sure that everything is healing properly, that you feel good and that the results are what you and we expected. If there are any complications, we will give you everything you need to make the best possible recovery.
Because recovery takes time, it can take weeks or even months before the final results are fully visible. This is why we offer free return visits until the final return visit.
