When you book a consultation at Estetikcentrum time to meet both the surgeon who will perform the procedure and our coordinator, who can tell you more about the logistical aspects of the process. This is your chance to visit the clinic and ask our knowledgeable team any questions you may have.
It’s important to meet with the surgeon before the procedure, both to get a feel for the clinic and to see if you have good chemistry with the doctor who will be performing your surgery. You can have your consultation either at the clinic in central Malmö or online, if you are unable or unwilling to travel to Malmö. Depending on the procedure, the consultation takes 30–45 minutes.
When you decide to have your surgery with us at Estetikcentrum , you Estetikcentrum assigned a contact person. You can reach your contact person 24/7 if you have questions or concerns—before or after your surgery. Your peace of mind is our top priority, and we want you to feel 100% safe with us at Estetikcentrum. That’s why we want you to be able to reach us whenever you need to.
Preparations for surgery may include abstaining from alcohol, smoking, and certain foods, fasting for a specific period, or filling out the necessary paperwork for your safety. Our surgical team will be in touch with you to ensure you have all the information you need before the procedure. And if you have any questions, please reach out to your contact person.
When you arrive on the day of your surgery, our nurses will welcome you. They will go over all the preparations with you and escort you to the operating room. Our experienced, friendly anesthesiologist puts all our patients at ease, and before you know it, you’ll wake up in our recovery room, and the surgery will be over.
A nurse will be by your side at all times during the anesthesia, right up until you wake up, when you’ll be served a meal in our comfortable recovery room. You’ll have as much time as you need to rest before the doctor checks in with you to make sure everything went as expected. You’ll then be given the go-ahead to go home when you feel ready.
After most surgeries, you can go home the same day, but for certain more extensive procedures, we ask that you stay overnight so we can ensure your safety.
The follow-up visit is to ensure that everything is healing properly, that you are feeling well, and that the results are what you and we expected. If any complications have arisen, we’ll provide you with everything you need to recover as effectively as possible.
Since recovery takes time, it may be weeks or even months before the final results are fully visible. That’s why we offer free follow-up visits until your final check-up.
