Before an implant treatment is performed, we conduct a clinical assessment. We carefully review your conditions, your health, and your personal starting point.
An X-ray of the jawbone gives us a good insight into how your treatment may go and whether the area where the implant will be attached is healthy.
Then, a minor surgical procedure is performed where the implant is screwed directly into the jawbone, usually under local anesthesia.
The aesthetic center also offers treatment using nitrous oxide or anesthesia if necessary.
The initial healing time is approximately 8-12 weeks, after which a temporary tooth is attached to the artificial tooth root that the implant constitutes.
After about 3-6 months, when the implant is ready to be loaded, your new permanent tooth is attached to the implant.
