Veneers are a cosmetic dental treatment that improves the appearance of teeth. Veneers are thin, custom-made shells or discs of porcelain or composite material that are permanently placed on the front of teeth. They are used to correct and improve the color, shape, size, or position of teeth. To apply veneers, the dentist usually needs to remove a thin layer of the tooth's surface to make room for the veneer.
An impression of the tooth is then taken, and the veneer is fabricated to the tooth’s specifications. Once the veneer is complete, it can be permanently cemented to the tooth using dental bonding materials. Veneers can be used to correct several cosmetic problems with the teeth, including discoloration, cracked teeth, uneven teeth, uneven tooth size, or unwanted gaps between teeth. They can provide improved aesthetics and give patients a more attractive smile.

When you come to us for your general dental care, you also receive a discount on all aesthetic dental treatments, such as teeth whitening.
We discuss what you expect from your treatment, what your wishes are, and what you would like to change regarding the color and shape of your teeth. When you are satisfied with the suggestions that our dentists and dental technicians have made for you, we will fabricate your veneers.
Once you are satisfied with both the color and tooth shape, we will glue your veneers onto your existing tooth. We always make a careful check to ensure that your bite function works flawlessly with your new veneers.
It is important to note that veneers are an irreversible treatment, meaning that part of the tooth's natural structure must be removed in order to apply the veneer.
This means that the decision to get veneers should be made after careful consideration and discussion with a dentist.
Veneers are just that, veneers and sit on top of your own teeth. Veneers can improve the appearance of your teeth, but they cannot correct serious dental problems such as tooth decay, tooth loss, or severe bite abnormalities.
