Otoplasty - how it works

The cartilage is then shaped, sometimes scraped a little and then folded backwards to reposition the ear. After your surgery, you will be given a bandage around your head to help your ears maintain the new position. You'll wear it for the first week and then you can switch to wearing it only at night.
