When replacing breast implants with us at Estetikcentrum , the incision is made under the breast in the breast tissue to reduce the visibility of the scars. If the incision was made under the breasts during the first operation, we go through the same scar when replacing the implants so that you do not get a new scar.
The stitches we use are called PDS stitches, or Vicryl. These are absorbed into the skin and provide support for a longer period after the incision is closed.

Mentor is the world's largest implant manufacturer with over 40 years of experience. They are a global leader in the manufacture of silicone breast implants and are approved in Europe and the US by the FDA (Food and Drug Administration).
Motiva is a newer manufacturer of breast implants, which have an extraordinary natural texture with a smooth surface. The combination of the unique silicone gel and its elastic structure means that the incisions in the skin are smaller. Motiva implants are manufactured with a microchip, so the exact model can be recognized with a simple scan of the breast.
During your consultation, your surgeon will take various measurements of your body, including breast width, height and size. Many patients prefer sizes that give a natural overall impression, but what is the right size for you depends entirely on your preferences and your body.
Most people choose round implants for a fuller result. The teardrop-shaped implants adapt more to the shape of the breast and give a more natural look. Motiva calls their anatomical implants "Egonomix" and Mentor has named theirs CPGTM.

After breast augmentation, recovery is individual, but typically you may experience swelling, tenderness and bruising of the breasts for a few days after surgery.
Most people can return to light activities within a few days, but must avoid heavy activities and lifting heavy objects for a few weeks.
We also recommend that you wear a supportive garment for a period of time to help your breasts heal.
We always go through the healing process in detail during your consultation.
If your first implants were made through an incision under the breasts, in the breast tissue, we place the new incisions in the same place to reduce scarring and the visibility of scars. If the incisions were made in the armpit, we will make new incisions under the breasts. At Estetikcentrum we make all incisions under the breasts to reduce scarring and the risk of complications.
