This is done by opening up a small incision at the back of the ear. The cartilage is then folded backwards, possibly in combination with scraping the central cartilage of the ear for optimal results.

After that, you only need to wear a headband at night for 3-4 weeks.
You should avoid physical exercise for the first few weeks and in some cases it can take up to six months for the healing process to be fully completed.
You may experience some soreness at first, but this can be relieved with standard painkillers.
