Intense Pulsed Light, usually abbreviated to IPL, is a treatment using high-intensity light pulses that can be used for both medical and aesthetic purposes. At Estetikcentrum we offer Diode laser hair removal for more effective hair removal than IPL.
What is the difference between IPL and Diode laser?
Simply put, IPL is an older technology than Diode laser, but there are several differences. The technology used in an IPL treatment uses flashes of light in several different wavelengths. Diode laser instead provides permanent hair removal with an even beam of light where the wavelengths are optimized for permanent hair removal. Hair removal with Diode laser treats with a more focused energy designed to be more effective, compared to IPL whose spectrum of light is much broader.
