Boka din konsultation nu:

How does fat freezing work?
When fat is frozen, a protective cloth is placed on the skin and we use a handpiece to soak in adipose tissue. With the help of a pumping vacuum, the adipose tissue is cooled down to minus 10 degrees, whereby the fat cells are destroyed. The method is feasible because the fat cells are more sensitive to cold than the body's other tissues. In this way, the fat depots can be removed without the need for liposuction or any other surgical procedure. The treatment takes just under an hour and results in the fat cells' natural cell death, also called apoptosis. Other tissues such as skin, nerves and muscles are not affected at all. The treatment result is permanent and the process of the body's uptake of the dead fat cells lasts for about 1-2 months in the body. About 20-25 percent of the fat disappears after just one treatment. Most often, you therefore need to repeat the treatment for the desired result. Fat freezing does not require local anesthesia or anesthesia and you can be active immediately after treatment. After the treatment, it is common for the fat-frozen area to be red and may feel slightly numb. However, it passes quickly.

Before the treatment with fat freezing
Before starting treatment with fat freezing, you will meet our specialists in this area for an initial consultation. It determines whether the method is suitable for you. It is important to remember that fat freezing cannot replace liposuction, but many patients are still helped by this smart and gentle treatment. We try as far as possible to satisfy your wishes and you also receive information about the expected end result, although we can never say in advance exactly how the outcome of your treatment will be.

Permanent result
The body has a very hard time creating new fat cells again, so the result is lasting. It gives you an excellent opportunity to maintain the body shape you want. However, other fat cells may grow larger at the expense of the fat-frozen ones. The risk is especially noticeable if you have a higher calorie intake than you should have. Therefore, we inform you about what you should think about regarding diet and exercise after treatment with us. A healthy lifestyle is, as usual, preferable.

The science behind Coolsculpting
Coolsculpting has been developed by ZELTIQ based on a scientific method called Cryolipolysis (fat freezing). Cryolipolysis is the result of a revolutionary discovery by scientists Dieter Manstein and R. Rox Anderson at the Wellman Center at Massachusetts General Hospital, which is affiliated with Harvard Medical School. ZELTIQ has an exclusive license for this patented technology and is therefore the only company that offers treatments based on Cryolipolysis.

Their initial research was published in the medical journal Lasers in Surgery and Medicine. It proves that fat cells under the skin are more sensitive to cold than other nearby body tissues. In total, there are about 60 scientific studies and publications, more than for any other equivalent product. Studies and publications confirm that fat cells that are subjected to carefully controlled cooling over a period of time begin to undergo a process in which the fat cells gradually shrink and die.
Are you curious about whether fat freezing can be something for you? Do you have unwanted fat on your stomach, thighs or anywhere else on your body that you have a hard time getting rid of? Make an unconditional contact with us and we will discuss a suitable solution for you.
